A confrontation between the ballerina and the synthetic reality surrounding her, Jordan Luca Spring/Summer 2025 studies how the two sides of desires (its ethereality and its undeniable material plasticity) generate conflicting dynamics that cannot be resolved in a polished compromise.

If «emotions are abundant they are also manufactured» reads the press release and the duality of sexual interplay is a recurrent element of the collection with a ballerina dancing for her and herself only and a man that is the of unambiguous sexual desire

Desire and emotions are fabricated, they don’t stem naturally. This concept is translated in the collection through the frequent use of synthetic appliqués that challenge every simple notion of what is real and what is not.

As much as desire, luxury itself is fragmented and shattered with silk blends glazed in plastic, and the same treatment is displayed on the signature denim, tailoring, and outerwear pieces.

Hedonistic floral dresses are hand-torn and re-pleated, blazers consume the body, and parkas are plastic-coated to protect.

If evolution deals mostly with time, at Jordan Luca evolution is timeless, a constant dichotomy that confronts us with the uncanniness of desire.
