JordanLuca FW24
Jordan Luca, in partnership with La Sopravissuta Dei Sibilini, presents the fall-winter 24 men’s and women's collection for the sustainability of Italian biodiversity and craftsmanship. It all starts with balloons - the location is full of them, a tunnel that extends through several rooms and corridors. The balloons have a slightly nostalgic look but at the same time they remind also house parties that taste like Jägermeister, cakes and cigarettes. A happy, somewhat bittersweet memory. So you have to imagine Jordan Luca like this, a cream cake with red cherries and an unlit cigarette in a saucer. The party is over but the music stays. A hymn to life: life is all that remains. And it comes alive in the bright red of the enamelled leather bags and is a statement of determination when it’s worn over a hoodie with gelled hair like Sid Vicious. Jordan Luca is punk. The human experience is punk. The ending to the tune of Mad World by Gary Jules takes us into a dark and somewhat distressing atmosphere à la Donnie Darko and reaffirms the affability of life whose only meaning is to be lived to the full.
