Danish fashion brand Henrik Vibskov presents “The Orchestra of Soft Assitance” for its SS25 menswear collection. Exploring themes of empathy and adaptability, the collection draws inspiration from human hands — their use as a symbol of care and aid in particular — and the animal kingdom’s keen ability to adapt to different environments.
Characterised by classic, fluid silhouettes and garments with morphed, imaginative patterns, “The Orchestra of Soft Assitance” embodies these themes through its versatile offerings. Garments with wavy, amoeba-like silhouettes and flowing knitwear pieces allow the body to give form to pieces from the collection, while classic checks are re-imagined and morphed into ocean motifs, dissolving completely. The theme of hands is also prevalent in the presentation of the collection, as models glided amongst a sea of small, red hands, dexterously pinching pieces of translucent, white textiles.
With over half of the garments utilizing at least 50% of certified fibers, “The Orchestra of Soft Assitance” explores how we can take inspiration from nature to adapt and adjust to the changing world around us — both metaphorically and literally, through the use of sustainable materials.
