May 27 Dharma Initiatives

"What are you scared of? What have you erased in this place?" As part of the ongoing collaboration between Dharma Initiatives and Essenza Club, Episode 7 of their ongoing series attempts to find meaning throughout the many questions within humankind and nature’s vitality. Un soffio pestifero nel cielo nero della notte, una candela brucia (A pestiferous breath in the black night sky, a candle burns) is the cunning title of the multi-layered exhibition.

As the focal point of the episode, the artworks of 8 different artists (Urbain Checcaroni, Riccardo D'Avola-Corte, Tristan Gac, Lucas Hadjam, Inside Job (Ula Lucińska & Michal Knychaus), Alessandro Nucci, Eetu Sihvonen, & Cléo Sjölander) are to be showcased meanwhile through so called “leaks”, the artists’ self-made short videos act as extensive appendages to their image-based pieces.

By the windup of the project, each artist’s works were symbolized into cards that are discernible for they are integrated into a 4 minute film as microcosms of the wildly different themes each artist tampered with.
