Cottweiler SS19
It all started in a very poetic atmosphere with a gentle feminine voice proclaiming for love, power, and sunlight, just like a yoga mantra would. All the walls were covered with luxurious woolen cloth carefully stretched and a very singular object in the middle of the room, attracted all the attention - a parabolic solar reflector, bringing and reflecting all the lights.
Cottweiler's SS19 vibes were all about pure feelings, beauty, spirituality, and meditation - the lotus flower icon on the invitation was already giving us a clue on the show's tone.
From spiritual performance wear, perforated Nappa leather to transparent utility, Cottweiler SS19 did not disappoint. The Zen attitude, relaxing music and refined aesthetic of this show take us to this imaginary retreat, half a world away. We all felt completely released and in a peaceful state of mind after this sublime show.
The well-being trend has now been on for a little while and I think that we haven't heard the last of it yet. Our stressful lifestyle and fast society allow us to be self-concern by taking care of our own bodies and minds. If we don't do it ourselves, nobody is going to do it for us. So we might as well!
