The Icing on the Cake - an artist takeover is a format conceived by Art Programs for Industry for OSLO made in heaven, which consists of a takeover where the store will be temporarily transformed into an exhibition space. Four creations made by Giuseppe De Mattia, David Horvitz, Il Pasticcere Trotzkista and Sara Ravelli with the support of OSLO’s pastry chefs will be on view inside the store in Via Corridoni 1. For this occasion, the artists have been invited to rework the angel cake and its cylinder-shaped form 一 a staple of OSLO made in heaven’s 一 according to their own aesthetic and taste, giving life to unexpected, relational occasions for new encounters and narratives.
The cakes will be on view (and in some cases available for tasting) on the occasion of the opening on Thursday, October 24, from 6 to 8 PM. The exhibition will be open through Sunday, October 27, during standard opening hours, from 11 AM to 7 PM.
