We are happy to announce the solo exhibition of Sally von Rosen ‘Sotto voce’, consisting of new works as well as sculptural excerpts from her exhibition ‘MAIN BODY’ at Trauma bar und kino, curated by Madalina Stanescu and Juliet Kothe during Berlin Art Week 2023.

Von Rosen (born 1994 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is based in Berlin. In her artistic practice she explores foremost within sculpture and performances the political ecology of things as well as the inherent affective materiality between subject and object relations.

Sotto voce translates to “under the voice” and means something that is being said to not be overheard. Von Rosen’s upcoming exhibition embodies that even the faintest whisper is a strong bodily function.
