YOUSER SS20
Unisex Korean brand YOUSER debued their first collection to be presented in Europe, bringing us Western-Futurism fusion with their FUTURE FAKES SS20 show in Milan. Based in Paris and Seoul, YOUSER is the brainchild of Mooyeol Lee, who has been serving us collections influenced by streetwear, young street subculture and art since 2011. A wordplay of “you” and “user”, the brand seeks to encapsulate the dynamics between designers and consumers. Marrying the inspiration of Wild West costumes with his ideas of the future, Lee’s looks this season were adorned with patchwork, suede, fringe and studs paired with neon, glossy and patent futuristic materials and colors.
