Whilst I was touring India earlier this year, I went on a small detour to Nepal. After a hectic Varanasi during Holi, Kathmandu was such a beautiful, peaceful and friendly place to be in. I found Nepali culture to be an interesting clash of Hindu, Buddhist, Indian and Tibetan traditions; a vibrant patchwork of colours, textures, smells and crafts. The photo series is a collection of small glimpses that aim to capture the serenity, grace and authenticity of modern day Nepal, the way I, as an outsider, perceived it.
