The collection drew upon ancient civilizations and industrial aesthetics, with models walking through an ethereal haze as rose petals rained down from above. The predominantly black and gold pieces felt raw, powerful—shin-high boots resembled leg splints, and cracked leather mimicked worn canvases. The inclusion of Parisian fashion students further underscored the message of inclusivity, marking a departure from Owens’ previously intimate, more exclusive shows. Despite the theatrics, the collection was ultimately about a shared sense of belonging in a world increasingly defined by division.
