Les Moires
Marie-Ève Lecavalier is a young designer from Montreal and currently doing a Master’s Degree at the art and design school HEAD, located in Geneva, Switzerland. Her goal for the FW16 collection was to work with the concept of the Moiré effect. Inspired by the book itself of Lytle Shaw, the idea was to create garments that would transcend the fine line between dream and reality by using lines, details and shapes of iconic clothes. ‘’Les Moires’’ is a collection about perception, confusion and poetic blurriness.
