Who are your main musical influences?
Kraftwerk, Hans Zimmer, Kidnap Kid, Ludovico Einaudi-lots of piano and strings, preferably together
How did you decide to become a dj?
I started off in a psychedelic Krautrock band and slowly started doing my own thing which developed into being more and more electronic.
What's your favorite song at the moment?
To DJ, CamelPhat's Cola is really fun. Benadryl is a new song by Sofi Tukker coming out next month. I've been working on a remix of it which I can't wait for you to hear. Everything they put out is amazing. Kidnap Kid's Where The Sea Swings Like An Iron Gate just came out and is beautiful.
When and where are you happiest?
When I'm snuggled up in bed.
What are your favourite and least favourite things about social media?
I don't like how addictive and narcissistic it is but on the other hand it also means I get to post pictures I like instead of someone else printing something unflattering or quoting me on something I've never said. You get direct access to your fans and associates and as it's immediate artists can self-release their music and merch then and there which I think is very liberating.
