You are a woman of many talents, what are you focusing on at the moment?
In the last few years I'm really more into singing-songwriting, I came from acting, I still act but very rarely and choose a project that I like. I've started DJ-ing 4 years ago.
Who inspires you?
I guess there is not one person who inspires me, I get inspired by people I love, my family, my partner, my dog. I have a few artists that I follow for many years that fascinated me, like Thom Yorke, Bjork, Portishead, Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Patti Smith, and more. Lately I saw Nick Cave performance in Tel Aviv and I have to say it was once in a lifetime experience. I knew his music but I never really dug into him so much, and I was blowing away. He really left something in me.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself when you were starting out?
Sometimes I wish I could start music very early, I could maybe suggest myself to learn to play the guitar or learn to play the piano. I always knew I wanted to be an artist, I started to model when i was 17 in Paris and London, was always attracted to music, music was the background of my journey, when I traveled a lot, most of the time i was alone and for me music was an integral part, this is what i had and it made me feel so good to listen to music that touched me. It took me a while to really discover what i wanna do and what my interests besides modeling, but i guess it's never too late. Art has no age limit.
When and where are you happiest?
I guess we all look and want to be in the happiest moments and times. But it's not always like that, but when there is a moment of happiness, I really embrace those moments. I love to be with people I really love, to wake up in the morning and stare at my partner and my dog that are still sleeping, moments when i'm creating, and there are some good ideas coming out, I love that feeling. When I’m performing, it feels good, it's like a magic.
What is the one item you couldn’t live without?
What is the one item I couldn’t live without? Right now it would be my new classic guitar.
