The Hardeman FW2020 collection was presented as an interactive speed dating performance at venue The Dance located in Manhattan, NY. The models were introduced on stage in a game show format, participating in a few rounds of “dating” each other, then bringing the audience into the experience through “dating” them. With Sophie Hardeman’s ninth collection, she continues to grab the attention of local and international spectators of her innovative style of creation. Commenting on political ideas such as race, gender, sexuality, and class, this collection draws inspiration from the current state of our world.
