Mar 8 Dream Scape

Deeply inspired by 90s rave culture and posters that were printed during that era, “Dream Scape” reflects on the iconic scene that heavily impacted much of today’s youth culture.

Creative director and stylist Anna Zamora constructed a team of young creatives in efforts of showcasing the same talent and creativity that contributed to the vibrant raves of the 90s. The six posters that make up “Dream Scape” each feature individualistic characteristics, utilizing a futuristic and digital style to convey the “acid rave” vibrance of the era. The models are styled in avant-garde looks and smokey make-up, which reflect the rebellious and bold nature of the time. Zamora’s “Dream Scape” pays homage to the innovative nature, and pursuit of freedom that defined being young during the 90s. Though popular culture has inevitably evolved, it is undeniable that the rave scene has made its mark on art, music, and fashion; rendering it an iconic movement that truly revolutionized youth culture.
