“Beekeepers, trash aliens” is a photo series which was created as a result of wanting to cast models during Milan Men’s Fashion Week by Silvia Macchioni. She strays away from the superficialities of reputations, prestige, stature, influence, or prominence. Instead, she focuses on her instinctual drive for choosing the faces she likes, without any prejudices towards how ‘famous’ the model may be. The series also features sustainable brands, such as Freitag, a line made of recycled old fabric produced in Italy and biodegradable, and Exkite, made with recycled kites by an Italian former kiter and a Norwegian stylist.
