Anne Sofie Madsen SS18
Protective white goggles set the mood for Anne Sofie Madsen S/S 18 following which was a clean and well realized collection. Asymmetric drops of crystals were scattered everywhere and many outfits featured piping or top stitching highlighting corsetry style details on jackets and tops. Nearer the end, the garments became more organic breaking away from the strict lines and sterile colours of the beginning: a highlight being a sheer dress covered in tan tentacles that looked like multiple anemones floating on the model’s body. It felt like high fashion for a laboratory environment.
