Wendy Jim SS18
For Wendy Jim S/S 18 models splayed out on giant scratching posts and became literal cats of the catwalk. There was play with subverted gendered clothing such as office ties worn with teeny camisoles or a sheer prim lace pink dress. The immaculate tailoring was the most successful of the presentation, especially the check suit juxtaposed with a red PVC shirt. Belts were fashioned into leashes and added jolts of print and blocks across the outfits. This was a collection about questioning where people fit within society’s boundaries and so it was fit it was all finished with plenty of punk styling.
