LA Noir
Documentary photographer, Anastasiia Chorna’s photo series is entitled “LA Noir”. The Ukrainian photographer’s series is self-defined as her “love story with David Shama in Los Angeles 2013.” The works distance themselves from capturing intimate moments of the relationship and instead focus on surrounding, becoming more of an ode to the city and its role in the relationship. The photographer describes “LA Noir” as“The beginning of the relationship, first days in LA, first days using a film camera.”
