”Each of us, in our own way, develops a unique approach to the simple act of observing, constructed over time through experience, refining our vision and perfecting our perception until we end up relying always, or almost always, on the same methods.
Looking remains, at its essence, a natural and effortless act. We do it instinctively, without thinking.
But when we fail to attempt to interpret what we see, only the surface emerges.
And today, more than ever, we must go beyond the surface.
We cannot spend other stretches of time detaching ourselves from our emotions, nor be controlled by them.
Instead, we should take advantage of them, savor their depth, and fully grasp them. Looking above and beyond.”
