ISAAK is an interactive installation designed by @ditroit_studio that explores the increasingly hybrid and symbiotic relationship between humans and machines, between art and technology.
The performance invites us to reflect on how machines, through their ability to analyze and encode, can be not just mere tools of assistance, but also co-creators, integrating into the human creative and expressive flow.
Through the cobot YuMi, designed and produced by @abbrobotics , and thanks to the customized algorithms we coded, the machine creates analog portraits in real-time, based on the observation of the visitors. However, the portrait is not just a representation of reality: it is the result of an interpretative process, where ISAAK, like a human artist, molds the physical data perceived through its digital "eye" with an abstract language. What emerges is a fusion between the human creative process and the analytical approach of the device, which transforms input data into expressive signs.
