What is your full name and what does Tim call you?
Vivian Nienwen Fu. Tim calls me Kiki (for Kitty) or Oblivian (because it rhymes with Vivian).

Where were you born and where will you die?
Born in Los Angeles, specifically the San Fernando Valley AKA ~*The Valley*~. I will likely die in California.

Is photography your favorite form of expression? If not, what is?
Photography is definitely my favorite. I also like a fun outfit and making up parody lyrics to popular songs about me and my boyfriend or my cats.

If someone gave you a 25k budget to shoot whatever the fuck you wanted...
I've been wanting to take fashion editorial vibe self-portraits in my childhood home, which is exactly the same way as it was when I lived there and falling apart simultaneously. This shoot wouldn't really require a 25k budget but maybe the stylist, make up artist, and hair stylist all get paid like seven grand. Maybe I’d live in Taiwan with my family for a year and just make work. Maybe I'd hire actors and just re-shoot my life but with actors as me and Tim and my family. I don't think any of these are particularly good or exciting ideas though.

It seems like you are both really comfortable being photographed - Is this true? Are either of you ever shy about it? Has Tim ever said no?
I'm a ham and love to have my photo taken. Authorship is really important to me, so I'm always trying to insert myself into the picture. Tim says he doesn't think he's shy about having his picture taken, but that there also isn't an absence of boundaries either.

Have your or Tim’s parents ever commented on the sexual or personal nature of your photos?
My parents avoid talking to me about sex, but in the past urged me to take my pictures off the internet because they were worried about if it would impact my job prospects. I feel that Tim's parents would want to avoid talking to me about the sexual/personal nature of my photos, but I don't sense that they're uncomfortable about my pictures.

What have been some of your day jobs?
In the past my day jobs have been photographer for a company doing children's sport team portraits, computer lab technician at a school, lab tech at a photo lab developing and scanning film and a creative researcher. I think I do well with having a day job, but I do enjoy the freelance projects I've been assigned in the past.

Tell us about your cats. Are they sassy or sweet?
I have two cats. One is named Joey, he was born on Christmas and really enjoys playing with hair elastics. He is a sweet and sassy pink blue white grey cuddle bug that likes to eat watermelon and cantaloupe. Marvin is a grey blue taurus, who also loves to cuddle. They've both very friendly and charming cats.

You love hot dogs right? How do you take your hot dog?
I like polish sausages from Costco with some spicy mustard. I also like cut up regular hot dogs stirred into some mac n cheese. I visually like a dodger dog, which if you're unfamiliar, is essentially just a really long hot dog in a regular sized bun. I do love hotdogs but might prefer hamburgers.
