Do you have any creative rituals or routines that you participate in to help you work?
I am inspired by sourcing vintage clothes and accessories and it helps me experimenting with styling and discover new worlds of fashion.

What is sacred to you?
Sacred to me is firstly, authenticity & to be humble! Also, my hometown and my people inspired me and help me go forward.

What is sacred to the 'High Street Girls'?
Again, the authenticity of the models, they really enjoyed and understand what they were doing! We had a lot of fun on the set and this was the most important to me.

What mesmorised you so much about 'High Street Girls' that made you base a piece of work off of it?
I researched Nollywood movies and the Instagram account @nolly.babes & a variety of movies. They were all funny and very stylish. High Street Girls movie was super exciting for me as it is a story that could happened everywhere & anytime with different characters. (not happy with that but...)

What instigated you to focus on archiving clothes from the 2000s specifically?
The past few years i collect clothes from the early 00s specifically because I used to take my mother's clothes and they were way more colourful and authentic than the clothes they produce now. Especially the quality is great & they last longer. Also, the collections of the brands were more extravagant and unique than now. Nowadays, all the "fast fashion" clothes look boring & the same. Someone has to invest a lot of money to buy unique brand-new clothes. In the past decades you had more options. I feel way more satisfied when I find vintage clothes. You look different from everyone else; you don't spend tonnes of money & you save the environment.

Can you tell me a bit about the evolution of your archive and 000sgarms?
My archive started in Athens, years ago, when i was in school i discovered a shop close to my house with vintage designer clothes and i became obsessed with the feeling of finding vintage clothes. The beginning of 00sgarms was very chilled, I started doing styling with my collection of vintage clothes and the I started selling them. Through that, I built a character for my shop & it helped me develop my styling vision aswell.

If you were to design a world based on this concept (on 'High Street Girls' or Nollywood), what would it look like?
I would design a very funny & dramatic world were all the majority will look different to each other, and they will express themselves 100%

What is next on the horizon for you?
I am in a very creative period of my life, i keep going with 00sgarms and styling and i also experimenting in Art Direction. I am planning to start expanding my work in more cities besides London and Athens.
