Simone Steenberg
My name is Simone and I am from Copenhagen, Denmark but I am currently based in London, UK. I am a fashion and art photographer working as a freelancer and at the moment I am also studying the MA in Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion, UAL.
I like to explore the female body and identity in unconventional and abstract forms while I also strive to get a more visceral response from the viewer. The body is a key element within my photography and I like to work with it in a more sculptural and textural way.
I draw my inspiration from different art movements such as Dada and Minimalism, also minimalist architecture. I am also very inspired by contemporary dance, such as Sasha Waltz, and performance art.
