Mrs. Poucheau
Mrs. Poucheau is a film by Spanish director Amanda Lago, starring actress and singer Cachet Nogueraan, that shows the struggle between the highs and lows of grief and loss. A story of coming to terms with reality while still holding onto a memory, the film beautifully shows a woman stuck between stillness and chaos, laughter and sadness, childishness and maturity. Mrs. Poucheau asks the question, do we stay in the warmth and comfort of a happy memory, or do we face the cold and painful reality? Amanda Lago perfectly distills a nostalgic and relatable story with a sense of stillness and power.
