“The human skin is an artificial boundary: The world wanders into it, and the self wanders out of it, Traffic is two way and constant”
— Bernard Wolfe

This shoot with Minx, a performer from Cornwall explores technology through her music and image.

The progression of technology within different forms of mixed media is allowing a new age of creative characters to emerge. The advancement within musical technology has led me personally to explore a new range of personas, moods and emotions. You can fully disconnect yourself from your own standard human traits, for example, technology can help express sides to you that maybe more reserved, for me being able to portray myself as overconfident and powerful, playing a character when performing is all down to being able to use your body as a shell and the use of technology to shape the rest.
