METALLIC MERMAID
Inspired by the life of two different planes, Water and Land, Metallic Mermaid’s story highlights the fictional extension of greek mythology when the god of the sea falls in love and builds dimensions that crack open the worlds untouched and unseen because of which the great war divides the dwellers of ten different planes for a throne that's precious as gold.
The story is about a mermaid / water creature from the creek who wants to fight on land.
Originally, the gods divided the lands. Poseidon touched Atlantis and in the central part of the island there was a plain, where a girl named Clito lived. The god of the sea fell in love with her and with her generated five pairs of twins; then he fortified the plain with five concentric circles, two of land and three of sea, and made Atlantis a fertile and prosperous kingdom, which he divided into ten regions, each headed by one of his sons with Clitus.
It was a very rich island: just think that from the sea to the center of the island it was a very fertile plain. Then there was in the middle a not very high mountain, on whose peaks lived a man, named Euenore, with his wife Leucippe, with whom he had a daughter, Clito, who however was orphaned just when she was of marriageable age. Poseidon, taken with compassion, lay with her. Then he dug all around the high ground on which Clitus lived, forming concentric circles, alternately of land and sea, now wider, now narrower. Thus the mountain was inaccessible to men and Clitus could live in peace. She had come to create a real unreachable island (since then there were no ships and the technique of navigation was unknown). Poseidon made that land very prosperous by making springs gush into it and making fruits of every quality grow there.
Then he raised 5 pairs of twins and divided the island of Atlantis into 10 parts, each of which was entrusted to one of his 10 children. The real leader, however, was the eldest of the brothers, to whom Poseidon gave the name of the island and called it "Atlas". The second called him Gadiro. The progeny of Atlas was numerous and glorious and the successive sovereigns accumulated many riches; the island of Atlantis was completely self-sufficient, but nevertheless did not give up on imports. It abounded in metals and in particular in orichalcum, which was the second most precious metal after gold. Then they built bridges that connected the island with the islet built by Poseidon, which had become the seat of the kings. The ten rulers competed with each other in magnificence and sumptuousness.
Like any city worthy of respect there was also the acropolis, at the center of which was the sacred temple to Poseidon and Clito, enclosed by a gold wall. The island also abounded in springs, both cold and hot, ready for use: the inhabitants arranged around it buildings, gardens and filled large and magnificent pools. The water then flowed towards the sacred wood of Poseidon, which made luxuriant plants and a luxuriant nature grow.
