Using a rich palette of flesh tones, earth tones and primary colors, Mattea Perrotta plays with color fields to create perspective and explore relationships of form and space. Mattea Perrotta was born in Venice Beach and is currently living and working in Los Angeles. Having studied fine arts in school, she worked to strip away her academic, classical influences in order to position herself in minimalism and abstraction. Her work serves as a welcome reminder of the unavoidable, divine connections that exist within humankind and between experience and nature.
