Lovesickness
LYUOCHENG’s capsule collection surrounds the theme of languishing: “He tries to integrate into society, but he is still lonely”. Edward Scissorhands is a muse to the design as the universal want to integrate yourself fades into nothingness and instates your otherness. The pieces capture the lonesome protagonist upon a solitary walk: co-ord sets with an exaggerated white collar, red tights, a black gelled mohawk updo, extended claws to furry sleeves, and leather vests paired alongside tulle skirts encapsulate the spirit of being a beautiful freak aching for passion and warmth.
