Lara at home
Teaming up with Miss Crofton (@misscrofton), Francesca Rowse (@franrowsevisuals) turns her lenses from the women of Cornwall to artist and soon-to-be mother Lara Verheijden (@laraverheijden) in Amsterdam. Having recently launched her Berlin Nude calendar 2022, Fran and Miss Crofton went over to visit Lara and celebrate its success!
Fran’s work offers us a window into the lives of women, capturing moments of surreal magic in their homes. Photographing Lara was no different. From laughing and chatting to dressing up (and dressing down), Lara welcomes us into her home.
The laid back playful imagery points to how well Lara is leaning into her new role of motherhdood! Styled using handmade lingerie from Miss Crofton that challenges and plays with conventional ideas of the maternal stereotype, these images not only pay homage to Lara as a strong female creative but also to women worldwide.
