Lady Coco
Lady Coco’s fantastical instinct is other-wordly and comprises collector dolls, fairy wings, and bedazzled toe acrylics, putting forward a fairyland where we would rather be right now.
A fashion tale explores the idea of transformative power. Enveloped in glitz and glow, Lady Coco conveys the mystifying appeal of the kitsch aesthetic through posing in various corsets and ruffled dresses. French neoclassical style is cleverly referenced by this, meanwhile the diverse assembly of antique dolls are here for good company. You first notice the fairy wings set aflame, but then catch sight of the eventual metamorphosis of a blue-skinned belle dressed in a voluminous blood orange bustier, easily draped across the ever so glamorous bathroom floor.
