Jil Sander Fall 2016
This is proper architectural fashion by Rodolfo Paglialunga who showed his fourth Jil Sander collection and landed a big hit. He stretched his imagination and the codes seem apparently simple, rooted in a clear vision.
Rooted in a clear vision, and it could be really hard to see the matches of a new oversized silhouettes, with black big buttons showed in a exasperated cut double breasted coat, perfectly midi. He plays with the graphite nuances as he would write with a pencil from the blackboard colour of a fur jacket until the polished and lighting grey shirt, passing trough a white paper like the total white zip coat.
The music is a Drama melody and the first picture that appears in my mind is a sequel of a dozen severe portraits of independent women designed by the painter Romaine Brooks in the 30's, where the black and white was one with the grey.
