Jerome Navail
Take a trip into the future, where french designer Jerome Navail is the narrator of the story which reveals our media corrupted society in 2017. Small changes are being made but we continue to let media control our minds, the revolution has not yet started. “The human race is still trapped in the walls of comfort, sheltered within their knowing lack of understanding our abundant possibilities.”
Jerome translates this future state of mind by transforming his designs and letting them breathe a certain attitude of nonchalance. A deconstruction of the garments that lets the body adapt a new gesture and sensual movement.
Graduating from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Jerome’s work is influenced by the 90’s and 2000’s fashion and designers like Helmut Lang, Martin Margiela and Raf Simons who are constantly inspired by youth culture.
