Issey Miyake Fall 2016
There were not only pleats for this season at the Issey Miyake FW16 show but also playful contrasts of volumes and bright colors, carmine red predominates, but also the yellow, green, purple and blue. All the colors mixed up together, like insane irises, in holographic prints that transform slight volumes of the clothes in natural armor plates, and the draperies and ruffles in sinuous plastic spirals. The three-dimensional sci-fi city, designed by Jean Giraud, alias Moebius, seemed less alien-like and less distant.
