What’s been on your mind lately?
Lately I’ve been thinking about how they decide the color of the year, and which will be next. Also, the problem of overconsuming.
What does androgyny mean to you?
It means not defining a person by gender, instead focusing more about who that person truly is. And just the thought of not thinking about gender in a conversation would be interesting. We have the instinct to know everything, from sexual interest, nationality and gender. So how I see androgyny is something in between, something undefined, still to find out.
How did your collaboration with Weekday come about?
Well, they wrote me an email telling me about this collaboration called Zeitgeitz. They needed an influencer form Norway to represent the country, so I was the chosen one. The collaboration consisted of me writing something on a T-shirt that means something to me, or is relevant for this time. I was broke and craving for coins, so I took this opportunity and made it as much as possible to my brand. Then I came up with the word ANDROGYNY, which I think is important for me and also the time.
What do you hope this collaboration will accomplish?
I think sometimes we need to look beyond gender and start to focus on other topics. The stigma around finding yourself is seen as very important, that needs to stop, it shouldn’t be rushed. For me being androgynous is about feeling undefined.
When and where are you happiest?
I am my happiest when I see my visions and thoughts come to reality. Where? I could be happy anywhere.
