INSERTO is a manner of make, act and think. An art and design collective, born into young counterculture scene based in São Paulo, Brazil. “[we are] willing to communicate our desires and yearnings through EXPERIMENTAL STAMPS, by the means of a product, performance art, clothing, graphic design, installation, etc.” Formed of three multidisciplinary artists: Ikaro, Luccas Morais and Viviane Lee; INSERTO dares you to wear. Their unusual practice, incorporating up-cycling and silk screen printing – customisation through reutilisation is used as a method by the collective to rethink production and consumption. “We validate our processes by the means of the experimentation, building and unbuilding. We want to rethink the “refined finish” and question the unbridled consumption of new products in a sea of so many existents. Here, the stamp is the path, not the finish line.”
