How are you liquid flower?
Styled by Manuel Bolaño and art directed by Alejandra de Miguel, Carla Di Girolamo’s lenses capture the chaotic world of teenage contradictions; a liquified blur of a moment where time becomes relative.
“I constantly live with that conflict, I contain multitudes. I fill my hands with soil, I swallow stones, It lies heavy upon me. At the same time, I drag myself, leaving marks but looking for some happiness, some sadness”
The story pulls apart the internal conflicts of melancholic teenagers “looking for some happiness, some sadness”. This internal turmoil of constant dualities revels in pastel colours and materialises into childlike memory; exploding into ruffled indecision, glittered dejection and graffitied emotions.
