Freaky Lust

Freaky Lust

Freaky Lust includes thirteen images following the principles of combining humans and animals, amongst a backdrop that is typically set in nature. Inspired largely by the book "Reblais and his creative world", Elena interprets the evolution of pop culture, comic art, and the grotesque body during the middle ages. The grotesque body is dualistic and malleable, representing growth and demise, pregnancy and birth, and the continuous exchange between the body and the environment. The sequence of collages featured in Freaky Lust tell a story of that is significant both to one’s self and for understanding our place as humans on this earth.

We are a huge chaos of forms, shapes, living organisms and what I’d like to do is enligh this chaos with no dinstinction and no supremacy. We think we are masters of the world but we only are part of it, from the noblest attributes to the rudest and “obscene” aspects of our lifes.
