Kiki has always found liberty through performing on stage. Inspired by the audience and oriented towards providing an experience while performing, she cultivates the night with her tracks. Though her music career is a vital aspect of her life, Kiki also emphasizes the importance of self-actualization in her life through her family and being present in her marriage.

Introduce yourself! How do you usually define what you do when meeting new people?
Heyyy I’m KIKI from Fotan!!! This is a really hard question haha, I’m a full-time Fiji wifey, baking, and daydreaming every day, and part-time performer, rapper & DJ.

What kind of music did you listen to growing up? Has the type of music that inspires you changed?
I listened to a lot of different shit when I was small, from indie band music to canton pop. And then one day I got so bored of this shit and started digging electric music, club Trax, hip pop and trap, etc, sometimes I don’t really know what kind of music genres I’m listening to lol

Would you ever consider moving to a different city?
YES! When I was small I always wanted to! But somehow when I grew up and traveled to different cities, I found that deep in my heart I really love the city that I am living in now!

How did you find the confidence to express your voice musically? Has performing always been something you enjoyed?
When I’m on stage I only have one mission; to make the audience enjoy the party or performance! I always feel free when I’m performing, because that’s my stage, I can do whatever I want!

How does the art scene in Asia compare to those of Europe and North America, in your opinion?
I think the Western world puts more of an emphasis on art compared to Asia, you can learn more about art / connect with art, everywhere is a museum and different kinds of art spaces/events. I guess most of the people in Asia don’t really think art is important in a city or in a country, but I’m sure art is very important for a well-developed city or country.

What are a few professional or personal goals you hope to achieve in the near future?
MAKE MUSIC!!! DON’T BE LAZY!!! SHOOT MORE MUSIC VIDEOS!!!
