Being part of the "Porn Wave" educational program at Masseria Wave, Puglia, Italy, as a lecturer we had an incredible and enlightening experience. The program explored the intriguing intersection of porn and web3, along with discussions on the future of digital magazines and platforms like COEVAL Magazine. Moreover, the focus on Metaverse platforms like Spatial and the revolutionary text-to-image AI generation with Midjourney and Stable Diffusion added fascinating dimensions to the event. We showed participants how to generate images with AI as well as hosted an immersive experience exploring sexuality within VR.

The 2023 season features an eclectic cultural program inspired by the theme "The Liberation," with a focus on fostering human connections and interaction tourism.

The event's diverse schedule includes an impressive lineup of music, workshops, exhibitions, queer shows, performances, meetings, debates, thematic explorations, and dinner shows. International guests and collectives are invited to interpret the concept of freedom through their art and performances.

Among the 90 names on the program, the captivating performances of BĘÃTFÓØT from Tel Aviv, the legendary Princess Julia from London's club culture scene, and the boundary-pushing DJ Luwei incorporating oriental elements stand out as must-see experiences.

The spirit of freedom finds expression in the Palestinian collective Radio Alhara, whose sonic revolution of DJs in the Middle East has garnered global acclaim. Their special project "The Liberation Broadcast" will captivate audiences during three Sunday residencies at Masseria Wave.

Delving into the theme of sex work and body liberation, "Porn Wave" is a special project of Masseria Wave that sparks meaningful conversations through meetings, screenings, and discussions. A highlight of this edition is an unprecedented interview with special guest Cicciolina, a former porn star and worldwide icon of transgression, sharing her intimate and personal experiences directly with the audience.

An embodiment of liberation, Masseria Wave's first independent editorial project "Wave Zine Issue 0 The Liberation" was recently presented in Milan. This collection showcases photos, images, illustrations, interviews, and stories interpreting liberation through both irreverent and intimate lenses, celebrating the works of over 60 contributors.

The creation of the fanzine stems from the observation and experience of Masseria Wave as a space of inclusion, exchange, and discovery, fostering a safe environment with a strict policy against harassment and discrimination. The event continues to thrive as a haven for exploration, artistic expression, and boundless innovation in the heart of Italy's Puglia region.
