Christian Dada Fall 2017
We captured Masanori Morikawa’s boys in their statement college boy outfits while walking down the catwalk. Morikawa, the creative brain behind Christian Dada, followed the melancholic escapism as many other designers this season. His message was simply “too fast to live” and “too young to die”, expressed through prints on the sleeves and by interpreting the color blue, which within Japanese tradition symbolises “the wild and destructive feelings of being a teenager”. The rebellious attitude got even more symbolic including the t’shirt collaboration with London designer Charles Anastase.
