Mar 21 Bonding Assemblage

In it’s beginnings ‘Bonding Assemblage’ was a queer love story, platonic in nature, aiming to comment on the internal struggle one faces when transitioning. Now the story transforms itself and reflects upon the varying components which merge as one to construct human identity. Material and skin mesh together in shocks of lurid colour, evolving into various differing positions, representative of a world in constant flux. But the bond is never broken, the deep human connection which lives in the heart of the subconscious keep’s us grounded to personal and societal ‘oneness’. We toil, searching in pursuit of self knowledge, fighting against the bondage, which snaps us back and forces us to explore the link we hold with one another and journey together on a path of interconnected concord.
