Sep 14 Barragan SS18

It was a show of jarring contrasts. Hyper feminine shapes placed against oversized masculine silhouettes. Clothes were cut to expose hips and stomach with tight fabric wrapping arms to their sides, all finished with an excess of skin. The 00’s tribal tattoo was seen everywhere, traced down the back of the spine, in prints, as large sculptural earrings becoming something rather beautiful, funny and unexpected. The attention to details —jagged sunglasses, kitten heels with twisting Lycra socks, slicked back hair— propels Barrágan back to today and presents us with his coolest collection yet.
