Back 2 School
As early as I can remember there was nothing more important to me than coming in really hot the first month of school. A mix of statement and practical pieces, this fit keeps a summer vibe alive while guaranteeing some consistent wear.
HAT: As I said last week, I’m definitely on team bucket hat. This furry little Kangol has a really fun shape and the material definitely makes it stand out amongst it’s cotton counterparts.
EARRINGS: Butterflies have been in for a while now. I love the saturation of this pair of Morpho earrings! Measuring about 1” x 1” these are a subtle yet unique accessory.
SHIRT: ICP merch is always extremely cool. The tie-dye is really well done and I love that this shirt looks like a Monster Energy drink. Personally I would wear it as a dress but it’s totally unisex.
SOCKS: The price point on these is so great to dip a toe into the Vetements world without breaking the bank. Though not so relevant these days, I love the irony and would happily wear these weekly with heels or sneakers. It’s like giving your outfit the ability to wink.
SHOES: Docs have always been great in that they are comfortable and pretty resilient! I love the chunky 90s look of the sole but also the nod to industrial workwear. I loved picking the perfect pair of shoes to get me through a school year, this time around I think unique Doc Martens have a lot of potential. <3
