Where are you from?
Im from Kramfors. A tiny city in the north who came second in “swedens most boring town” in 2008. And it was ALSO a coke metropol called powder city. :)
Do you see your yourself and your character as minor or major (the musical terms)?
ShitKid will always be major.
Musical influences?
Im influensed by alot of different genres. But ive been a big fan of yeah yeah yeah and white stripes. This is it was inspirerad by is this it from strokes and my next album is influenced by Classic emo. Fall out boy, simple plan, green day etc.
Why “shit kid”?
Actually it should have been coke kid but then I figured drugs are shit and I’m more into weed.
Besides a musician you are also.. what?
A warehouse worker for almost a year now! I have abs. Proof on insta @xshitkidx
You make indie/punk with a raw, anti-sound. Is this raw authentic sound intentional? I’m thinking it might be difficult to keep those sounds authentic today when the music making often has hi-tech standards?
Not too intended. Like.. I don’t add the glitches in my songs but I don’t mind them. I’m getting better at recording. I think the next album might kind of sound professional.
On the cover to your EP This is it you were wearing a prison officers jacket, for which the album was reported and banned. How did you get a hold of that jacket?
Yup haha. Did you know the cover for is this it by strokes was banned too? It was destined to happen. I cant really tell how i got it since id have another person “banned”. Lets say it was a friend of a friend of a friend!
How do you come up with the text and what do you usually sing about?
I usually improvise around a theme. I write the music first. I guess it could be anything that fits. Usually its nonsense.
I love your experimental music videos! Do you direct them yourself? In your video Tropics you are in a snowy swedish archipelago dressed in beachwear. Are you one of those “healthy” winter swimmers?
Hahah, Linda Hedström directed tropics! That and Sugar town. Moa Romanova directed You. And no.. I hate the cold.. more every year. Linda loves snow, ice and archipelagos.

What schampoo do you use? The cheap or expensive ones?
Hmmmm not the cheapest I think.. actually been a very long time since I bought shampoo. People forget their shampoos at my place and I don’t wash all the time.
Upcoming concerts? A tour?!! Where would you like to play?
We have some gigs in autumn in Paris. That will be a tour. Before that we play Trädgården, Liseberg, Musikens makt and Trästock!
