Y/Project FW23

The Y/Project Fall/Winter 2023 collection was a stunning display of creative director Glenn Martens' mastery of denim and innovative approach to design, featuring asymmetrical stitching, intricate layers, and explicit prints.

Ottolinger FW23

Mulas Hybrid Haus SS21

The collaboration ‘Mirror Soul’ between fashion label Mulas Hybrid Haus and visual artist Mila van der Linden was showcased during Amsterdam Fashion Week last Saturday. The collection was presented alongside a short film directed by Mila van der Linden and shot by Sam Vis.

Sinead Gorey SS21

London College of Fashion graduate Sinead Gorey created her brand in 2019 and has most recently had her SS21 capsule collection shown at London Fashion Week. Sinead collaborated with director Duncan Lewis on a film to accompany the presentation.

Hardeman AW20

Denim is an iconic fabric we have all grown to be comfortable in, which is why there couldn’t be a better material for the discussion of gender-fluidity and alternative points of view to take place in. Hardeman, an Amsterdam-based label, explores the progressive yet nostalgic feel of American fashion. Referencing warm summer nights, traditional college dorm-rooms, and country cowboys.

Barbara Bologna AW20

Barbara Bologna returns to Milan with her diverse Autumn Winter 20 collection, featuring a line-up of eclectic styles. Models paraded down the catwalk in everything from fluffy pink bunny ears to cowboy hats and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. In this article I will be reviewing the ethically focused designers unconventional Milanese show.

Mimi Wade AW20

Han Kjøbenhavn AW20

Danish fashion house Han Kjøbenhavn showcased its first ever AW20 collection in Milano entering a bravado of darkness and endless spectacle set by dreary Danish winter landscapes. Lifting inspiration from the art of storytelling, the audience is met with Han Kjøbenhavn’s raw, gritty worldscape.
