Alexandra Moura Fall 2017
Alexandra Moura has always been intrigued by foreign cultures and identity. Therefore also this season was inspired by the historical period of the Portuguese expansion. A melancholic collection that draws attention to a distant time and memories, a romantic heritage that distinguishes the culture until today. Alexandra’s signature contemporary silhouettes are influenced by traditional fabrics and prints from Timor and Indonesia. Heavy elaborated jacquards with lamé, jerseys and thick wool, all blended with a very rich colour palette. All this topped up with unique collab pieces - puffer jackets (AM x Duffy Sport) and shoes (AM x Volca).
